A historic example of liberals punishing job creators

Would you believe that I know a Tea Party Republican who clicked like for this on Facebook? At first I thought maybe he recognized it as just being clever, even if he disagreed with the underlining political point. But from looking at his other postings, it appears that he honestly thinks this poster is making a real good sensible point against liberals. I guess irony is lost on some people.

not being able to understand sarcasm. It also suggest that that there are now people who think that liberals had punished job creators by passing child labor laws and that child labor laws were a bad thing. Are we now at a point where it is acceptable for people who are in the political mainstream to believe that it would be a good thing if little preteen boys were doing heavy industrial work in steel mills and a bad thing that this was stopped in the early part of the 20th Century?
