Boehner lies. When he says, “the House has already passed two budgets”...he’s lying. A new Congressional session began in January and this session, the House has not met its Constitutional obligation. When he whines that the Senate hasn’t passed a budget...he’s lying. The Constitution directs that appropriation bills “must” originate in the House. When Boehner says the sequester was the President’s idea...he’s lying. After negotiations, he said he got 98% of what he wanted, so it’s 98% his. When Boehner says the President has no plan...he’s lying. The plan is posted right on the White House.gov. Boehner lies. What’s worse is the media and pundits repeat the same narrative or fail to push back when he just flat-out lies to the public.
