I really love my Prez after seeing Lawrence O'Donnell's first clip.

Yea, he's caving because he's getting together with rethugs.
I'm glad he's 'reaching out' according to Lindsay Graham

According to LO'D the Repugs came out fairly positive from this dinner. Now what would get them to come out positive? Either a massive caving by PBO or they are faking it - trying to put on a good face on this because they are trying to change the image of the party. In the end though I fear that they will double cross the President in some way or make him look bad in some way. I just don't trust them.

Really - positive responses to this meeting and a floor filibuster in the Senate conducted by Repugs all on the same day.....hmmmmm.....
What's going on?

that the Senators may have a problem. Seems that the dinner was provided out of the President's own pocket, given the Sequester and all. Also seems that senators have some restrictions on receiving "gifts" valued at higher than $25, unless the gift is from someone who was a friend before they gained office, and none of them can make that claim with regards to this particular president. Seeing as how the dinner was held in a private room at a fancy hotel, chances are each meal will ticket out a way above $25. This could get fun. . .

I don't know if elected officials have the same limits, but there's a lot of fine print and gray areas.

With all those Judas want to be that has been invited, one could call it the Last Supper, Part 2.
