Troubled Scooter Store lays off staff after federal raid

The Scooter Store's CEO notified all employees late Friday afternoon that they have been placed on unpaid furlough, effective immediately.

In an email, chief executive Martin “Marty” Landon told employees not to return to work unless they receive notice from its human resources department.

Workers who are to return on Monday will be notified.

“As you know, the company has been experiencing significant business challenges, which have adversely impacted our financial condition,” Landon said in the email.

D'ya mean the small matter of a federal indictment?

Or was it something else?

I think it was the indictment, but I may be wrong. Maybe you're just incompetent.

Well, you are either a crook or incompetent. I lean toward the former.

Jail for you!

the shit hits the fan they will not be there for you. When Al Capone was finally brought down, thousands of people that worked for him were fucked as well and he didn't do shit to help them, either.

There's a lesson here for those of you that are working in and for other parasitic industries.

Mr. piece-of-shit Landon probably has enough money to keep his worthless ass out of jail, but those 1800 people that willingly helped him to steal from all of us for more than a decade are now going to be fucked.
