Will Obama Keep Trying To Negotiate Until He Caves? He Is Going To Start Looking Like A Beggar.

So Obama had dinner with a bunch of GOP Senators. Then he had lunch with the budget committee including Mr. Ryan, who wants to basically kill seniors over time. Now he will be going to Congress to talk to House leaders. How far can Obama go before he starts really looking weak and sound like a beggar?

He is going to look weak politically if he keeps trying to get the Grand Bargain. And we all know the Grand Bargain looks more like a great capitulation if Social Security and Medicare are cut. If Obama enters any deal that forces the Democrats to cut either program he will do a lot of damage to Democrats. Remember Clinton made a deal with Gingrich on NAFTA, then it was favored nation status for China, then GATT was passed all after he supported a trade agreement he ran against.

Obama cannot keep drawing lines in the sand and then retreating. At some point he is going to drown in the sea.

being that anything President Obama does brings howls from the vocal (but very tiny minority of those from the far left and the far right), let's just ignore them and move forward.

Because no matter what happens, the far left shall keep whining.
Therefore to quote Ricky Nelson (c) If you can't please everyone, you got to please yourself."

because sure as heck you can't please the whiners no matter which way one goes.
So as they have lost their credibility whining like Chicken Little or the Boy who cried wolf once too often, treat them with a time out and work to move forward, one day at a time, one step at a time.

90% of Democratic voters loves President Obama and trusts him.
Good enough for me.

out from under folks by the tens of millions stealing the value of what they have earned over their lifetimes to make sure the bigwigs never have to pay taxes and get all the benefit from the productivity of working people?

Seriously??? What in God's name is wrong with you? Have you no decency, empathy, or even a soul?

I hope people just like you end your lives with your back against a wall somewhere.
How fucking dare you wish to "Go Big on the Grand Bargain"? These are real fucking people's real lives by the millions.

FUCKING SICK AND DISGUSTING SENSELESS DRIVEL!!!

Obama is doing exactly as he wants to achieve the goals he wants, what the 99% wants is irrelevant.

the Democratic party in his determination to destroy SS and Medicare. He has shown himself to be pretty unconcerned about the vulnerable. Last night he was even making fun of furloughed employees!
