It Is Easy To Get Discouraged About Future Of Country Hearing The Fools Calling Into Talk Radio

Hearing all the complete stupidity and ignorance of conservatives calling talk stations is just too much sometimes. We truly have two sides with completely apposing and incompatible ideas of where to go or what to do. There is so absolutely NO common ground anywhere between the two visions. Compromise of ANY kind is impossible.

It comes down to only one version surviving. It is like matter and antimatter.

Even if Obama got his grand bargain, it will not address our deficit and debt problems and will not satiate the GOP. They will double down on everything.

1. Reminds me of an old joke

A man walks into a doctor's office and rotates his arm in a circle.
"Doctor, it hurts when I do this."
The doctor says "So don't do that."

Why listen to conservative radio?

Getting rid of them is a major challenge too. They foam at the mouth while they are speaking. Some hare just dreadfully hate filled and almost spitting through the ear piece on the other end.

Ed Schultz usually cuts them off. He will argue sometimes but it goes no where. Thom Hartmann will have debates with them though they get enough air time on other formats. One guy who I think works for Perkins just goes ballistic when he is trying to debate with Thom.

The right wingers remind me of the Taliban or suicide sappers in Vietnam. They act like a psycho having a fit in a rubber room. And I believe they are so dangerous. The rhetoric from the right seems to be rising all the time.

What worries me the most is that the craziest and most destructive ideas are infecting the debate and even dominating it. And in some ways those ideas are moving the public agenda or so it looks.

I personally could not debate one of these fools in person without getting into a fight with them. They are so rude and insulting and won't shut up. I have no patience. I would start yelling back.

They remind me of dealing with a crisis situation at the homeless shelter where I worked. You get to a point where you have to intervene and just stop a situation. We worked hard on conflict resolution.

3. 'Completely apposing?'

'Apposing' is a word, but you're not really using it correctly. The two views could I guess be described as apposing (meaning placed next to each other), but 'completely apposing' would essentially mean 'completely placed next to each other.' I think you meant 'opposing.'

Remember there are two rules of calling people stupid on the internet:

1) Make sure you don't make grammar/usage/spelling errors in the post
2) See rule number one

...had some person ranting on about "The rich SHOULD have lower taxes since they create all the jobs"

That kind of bull tells me I have nothing, absolutely nothing in common with this person regarding politics.
