torpedo the President's agenda? (Watch out or you will be knocked down by the media chasing the nonsense.)

Anything that follows that statement is moot.

(25,285 posts)in this monstrosity that Ryan put together. No sane person would even attempt to put their name on it - let alone come out in front of the Press and try and defend it. So what do you think is the answer to your question?
Ryan and the Repugs must think the American People are really stupid that we wouldn't see through what they are doing. How could they even think that they would have any support by those that even say they are of their Party?
It just blows my mind that they really think that they are serving their people. Don't forget that when Ryan was up there talking about and defending his new budget offering - that he was surrounded by Repugs in support of him.

(11,464 posts)Which is EXACTLY what Jeb wants people to think
Question is whether Rand and Ryan and all the others are working for Jeb to win so their job in the house/senate would be easier.
Either way, only way to get rid of these people is to vote them all out of office and replace them with a democratic candidate or the one who will caucus with them
And don't let them tell you President Obama's health care is not good. Because it is.

(31,706 posts)To the great unhinged they didn't lose the election...it was Willard and Aiken's fault. Had there been a "real" CONservative then surely President Obama would have been put in his place and oxygen thieves like Eddie Munster get to prove they were "right". That's Ryan's game right now...he can't slink into the shadows like Willard and still thinks he's got a future...thus he wants to position himself for '16 and beyond...either to replace Boner or make a run at the White House. Either way he needs to be the darling of the dirtbags.
This is also vindication for him. He took the beating last year very personally and is gonna show us. Most likely his "budget" will pass the House and he can claim to be some "economic" expert again. It's more beltway kabuki theater. Hopefully the Democrats have seen this tired old show before and laugh it off...

(34,845 posts)Stop thinking they have anything like an organized game plan. No one is running the GOP. It's more ludicrous members just go off and do their own thing.

(16,254 posts)He jumps right in with both feet and makes a fool of himself, thus saving them from showing the public how stupid they can be. Ryan will say anything, do anything and all you have to do is give him the spotlight. He glows in attention.
