Why hasn't someone suggested that Rachel Maddow run for President?

Let's see a new poll and include her in it....is there a topic she doesn't know anything about? I can't think of any.

I think being gay is one reason why she's so successful. She doesn't bounce her ideas off of a husband who either pays no attention, or tries to correct her to the point where she loses confidence. Her partner must be a fantastic listener where Rachel can come up with all her ideas and have gabfests where all facts are brought up.

I am so tired of getting tears every night when I watch Rachel/Ed.

I hope she and Ed do some things together on Ed's new program..

And the fact that she's excellent on TV doesn't necessarily mean she'd be a good one. People tend to gravitate toward things they are good at, and she may have already found her niche. Somehow I don't see her as having either the ability or the desire to schmooze and equivocate - requirements for a successful political career.
