I had a really hard time choosing from those. They ALL deserve to win!

Panes of Gold and Portrait of Intensity were close seconds. Good photographers are so admirable.

but when I thought about it along with the theme - it is incredibly difficult to get that shot.

Some posters surprise me, others don't and most I just don't know-but tis always fun...

I always vote first. I try not to let the number of votes for a choice sway me, but sometimes if I'm torn I'll vote for one that hasn't received as many votes. I never look at the names until after I've voted.

And, I've been known to change my vote at the last minute if I can boost a really good shot that just needs a tiny bit of help but that's only happened once or twice.

hands down. It is stunning in its simplicity and composition. Beautifully photographed. Well done.

I voted for it too. The cat one is great as well though.

I loved the Winter Range photo also.

However, I voted for "I'm Coming For You" because it must have been a difficult shot & the clarity is amazing.

It's very difficult to choose; they're all so gorgeous.

we have over 50 votes in the first hour - that is about one sixth of what I expect in the entire 72 hour run - and that happened in the hour after midnight.

I think everybody is really thrilled with these, in spite of the tough choices they represent.
I'm having fun watching.

It was a very hard choice. I finally had to go with Garlic & Onions even though I'm a cat lover. Beautiful still life, looks like a Renaissance painting!

There were also several others that were really awesome. It was a hard choice this month.

But I had to go with garlic and onions. The first half of my life I didn't touch, couldn't stand, either one. Now it's impossible for me to cook without them and my children learned to love them, too.

Usually one photo jumps out and the decision is easy. This month, not so much.

I'm Coming For You got my vote, but Winter Range was also very compelling, as was Panes of Gold.

There sure is a lot of talent here.

I voted for he owl photo. The Golden Panes instantly spoke to me in social tones. It says we're seeing the sun go down on the American Dream.

I realize that would probably obviate the purpose of a "contest" but they are all so damn good....
