Sen. Saxby Chambliss: Im Not Gay, So Im Not Going To Marry One
With mounting evidence that support for same-sex marriage continues to grow throughout the country, Sen. Saxby Chambliss (R-GA) offered a simple take on why he's not budging in his opposition.
"I'm not gay. So I'm not going to marry one," Chambliss, who willl retire at the end of 2014, told Politico in a piece published Thursday.
The story, written by reporter Manu Raju, detailed how Republican and conservative Democrats in Congress have remained firm in their opposition to same-sex nuptials, even as polls increasingly show a majority of the American public is in favor of giving gay and lesbian couples the right to marry.
According to the PollTracker Average, same-sex marriage has majority support.

See? Makes perfect sense. It's kinda like how he'll never join the navy, so he never votes for building aircraft carriers. As you probably recall, we elect members of Congress specifically to pass only laws that affect them personally.

Sen. Saxby Chambliss (R-GA) continues to not be gay. From this, I believe we can infer that also he still doesn't want to marry one.
