The first segment of the show will be a conversation with Irv Hershenbaum, the 1st Vice-President of the United Farm Workers of America (UFW). The UFW and immigrant rights groups have organized a march in Fresno for Sunday, March 24, starting at 2 p.m. from Iglesia San Antonio Maria Claret 2494 S. Chestnut Ave.,
The second segment will be Karen Goodman, Bev Fitzpatrick, and Nancy Waidtlow talking about grassroots projects to help the homeless. Nancy has bought a home near Hughes and Dakota that will be the site of Fresno Eco Village model units - a new, inexpensive and respectful way to house the homeless. Karen and Bev are part of a group that takes food, water, and clothing directly to the downtown homeless encampments.
The last part of the show will be about the Saint Patricks Day event held last Sunday. There will be some music from the event and discussion about what the money raised will be used for.
