Took my son to see Red Tails over the weekend. He wanted to see it so bad because he saw the commercials with all the planes. He loves planes! I was a bit worried because he is only seven but several other parents told me it should be OK.

Well, he did love the sequences with the planes but afterward he looked up and said "Good thing they decided to work together instead of fighting each other, huh? They were the best pilots ever!" Got to have a good talk with him about the civil rights movement after that.

Makes me so mad and disgusted that there are people today running for president who openly want to do away with civil rights. I mean WTF?

I thought it might be because it being produced by Lucas.

I'm glad he liked it and I don't think it is every too early to discuss injustice.

I hate seeing sad movies so I'm glad that i can go see Red Tails.. and there story is on the big screen again.

Only thing I don't like is that it will get more kids want to join the military.
