Jeb Praises George W. Bush For "Not Having An Opinion" In Past 4 Years

March 24, 2013

Quote of the Day

"He is like the most focused, disciplined guy. To imagine being a former president and not having an opinion on anything over the last four years, really? I mean, to have that discipline, to be respectful of the president that hasn't been as respectful of him as he should have been? Man. I could have never done that."

-- Jeb Bush, in a CNN interview, on his brother, former President George W. Bush.

i cant think of any greater gift the bush family could give the usa, than to never have another 'idea' of theirs inflicted on us, even if, as a broken clock it were even good (such as the national do not call list)

Which is painfully obvious. But then, recognizing the obvious isn't a strong suit of the Bush family. Remember when Poppy didn't know the price of milk or what a supermarket scanner was? Apple didn't fall far from the tree.

Bush is incurious, inarticulate, easily manipulated and compromised.

Not having an opinion for 4 years isn't a big achievement for George W. Bush. In fact, it would be a greater achievement if he had formed an opinion on his own. He hasn't had much need for his own thoughts or opinions, as Dick Cheney did that for him during the White House years, and someone else (or EVERYONE else) in his family has done it for him otherwise.

The ONLY reason boy george hasn't had an opinion in 4 years,is that no one has told him to OR told him what it would be.

Jeb knows it. And he knows he can't defend anything that George W. and the Republican Party did during those long, declining years under his brother.

Jeb is just being sneaky and political. He knows he can't throw his brother under the bus, so the only thing he can do to minimize his own damage is to act like the "loyal brother" for the rubes. And a lot of them will frankly lap it up, unfortunately.

Jeb, ol' boy...I know you want to run in 2016, but there isn't enough lipstick to put on that Bush Family Pig and that includes your father. You can't believe W hasn't had an opinion for the last four years? He hasn't had an opinion for the last twelve except disastrous ones for the rest of the world.

Jeb is supposed to be the smart one? Man, that bar is so low, it's mud-splattered.
