Apparently after some renovations at the Tennessee State Capitol, some Legislators, including Republican Sen. Bill Ketron and Rep. Judd Matheny (who is now denying involvment), became aware of a mop bucket that they believed to be potentially a Muslim Foot Washing station, enabling Muslims to wash their feet before praying. Upon investigation, the Mop Sinks true purpose was revealed, and everybody settled down. So yes, Tennessee legislators are kind of dumb - but it did set me to thinking - would it be a bad thing if it were a foot washing station? Or would that be an infringement of the Separation of Church and State?
