So are we at a point where it is easier for red state Democrats to endorse marriage equality than

massacre control? We are down to nine Democrats who don't endorse marriage equality (Landrieu, Pryor, Nelson, Carper, Casey, Donnelly, Manchin, Heitkamp, and Johnson) with more that 10 who don't support restrictions on magazines or universal backround checks. That is simply amazing. We have Senators from Montana (2), Virginia (2), North Carolina, Colorado (2), Missouri and Alaska all supporting marriage equality. Virginia the home of Falwell and Robertson, North Carolina the home of Helms, and Colorado the home of issue 2 all have at least one Senator in favor of marriage equality. Nothing short of amazing.

I never thought I would live to see the day that a Senator from NC would support marriage equality. Oh, and it is Jesse Helms' seat. Now if we can just get massacre control to catch up.

Did you come up with that? I like it.

Your OP points out the Democratic Senators who don't endorse marriage equality. Thanks for listing them so they can properly be shamed as the political cowards they are.

I am still amazed that Hagan endorsed marriage equality. I went to her office on Tues and they had no idea since they said she had no plans to. Then on Wed morning I read that she had. I will give Heitkamp and Manchin that they would be at pretty large risk but Carper and Casey, get real. I also wonder if Schwitzer will come out in favor soon since both Baucus and Tester already have.
