Stephen Baldwin pleads guilty to tax charge, will pay $300,000

Poor Stephen...discriminated against in Hollywood because of his faith. Always some excuse from these Conservative nutjobs when caught breaking the law. No wonder Trump likes him.

Wasn't he supposed to leave the country if obama was reelected?

(CNN) -- Actor Stephen Baldwin pleaded guilty to repeated failure to file income taxes for three years and will pay $300,000 in back taxes, his attorney Russell Yankwitt said Friday.

Baldwin initially needed to pay $400,000 in back taxes, interest and penalties, but the court waived interest and penalties, which brought the total to $350,000, Yankwitt. The court then reduced that amount to $300,000, for which Baldwin was very grateful, Yankwitt said.

If Baldwin pays back the money within a year, the charge will be taken off his record, the attorney said. If not, Baldwin will be sentenced to five years' probation and have five years to repay the money, Yankwitt said.

"Mr. Baldwin is a man of faith, and it's difficult for him to get jobs in Hollywood that are compatible with his faith, and that's one of the difficulties he's had paying off the money," Yankwitt said..."

Well, is it against his faith to roof houses?

I have absolutely no physical proof at all. So this is pure conjecture and gossip - the lowest form of discourse. However, I just see him as maybe a little too much like a Ted Haggard. Professing so much about how he just loves God but he might be doing some extracurricular activity he wouldn't want anyone to know about?

So much for Mr. Baldwin being a good law-abiding Christian. Maybe he can work with Kirk Cameron on the new production Cameron is producing with Liberty University. It's not like it could hurt his acting career - what little there is of it.

are going to charity. I wonder what charity that is -- some church, I'll bet. I'm sure he has something worth $200,000 (he's already paid $100,000). If he owns real estate in CA or NY, it's probably worth at least that much.

It's a foundation founded in his mother's name after she developed breast cancer. As a BC survivor, I can appreciate that.

Not that I appreciate the toad himself.
