Hopkins surgeon Ben Carson apologizes for ‘choice of words’ on gay marriage http://wapo.st/YJj3i4

“I think people have completely taken the wrong meaning out of what I was saying,” the 61-year-old surgeon said in a telephone interview Friday. “First of all, I certainly believe gay people should have all the rights that anybody else has.”

He added, “Now, perhaps, the examples were not the best choice of words, and I certainly apologize if I offended anyone.”

Carson said: “But the point that I was making was that no group of individuals, whoever they are, whatever their belief systems, gets to change traditional definitions.”

. . . physician, heal yourself.

We understand, completely, what you've said. This non-apology is another peel off of the onion. I can just see Carson listening to people in the past -- who would regarded him as inferior because of the dark color of his skin -- telling him that he and his 'group' will never change the 'traditional definition' of intelligence and race.

mind you, it's 2013 and we put ANOTHER 96 million metric tonnes/carbon into earth's 12 mile thick atmosphere in 24 hours, as we do every day year after year after year....so maybe thinking the nazipoohs are growing up etc by having a black rightwingnut speaking for them is maybe a little too little too late! (like the Confederate Gov drawing up plans to enlist black troops to fight for the South at the end of civil war!)
they was hung on their own petards....
