(that is a picture of me when I was in Iraq, by the way. I detained some guy who was out past curfew with thousands of dollars in fresh crisp $100 bills. Of course I had to get my picture taken with the money. Funny thing is it never occurred to me to pocket the money and neglect to report it. Damn morals and ethics....)

I'd like to think that some minescule amount of the TRILLIONS we threw at that black hole went to SOME good purpose. And YOU spending it on yourself or loved one would have been a MUCH BETTER purpose than just handing it over to the various thieves we created with our horrendous debacle.

I still can't fathom that the money for the Wall St. "bailout" wasn't just handed to the folks who were upside down in their mortgages. Hell, we can afford to lose PALLET-LOADS of it - never to be seen again. Imagine a bunch of home >owners< today - working and generating revenues with which they could buy new cars, take trips and do other economy-boosting things. All we've got to show for our treasury's generosity, is gluttonous behemoths groping for ever more of our tax dollars!

And these "lost" billions in the middle east. JUST IMAGINE if they'd given our service personnel a couple of grand and sent them out each day to dispense it among the struggling populace - instead of handing it over, en masse, to shady contractors and war lords. We've got SUCH A F*CKED UP "brain trust" in DC.

giving birth to a new member of the Bush family. Republicans will look forward to it growing up so they can vote for it.

I still cannot believe how many lives he destroyed. And how wealthy he and his buddies grew off of his crimes. That he, his MIC buddies, and his banking buddies are on the streets and wealthy is a horror.

This is the ethic that the drug gangs in Mexico have.

Guess our politicians and pundits have other priorities. Chris Hedges brought up how the realists, serious and wise ones in Washington and Corporate McPravda are trying to get away with revisionism about their roles in the Big Lie.

Move on!

Sure, a lot of people were killed but the people have freedom now, right? They don't have to live in fear anymore, right?
