WE ARE "FDR" DEMS! ...Thanks to all the DU'ers WHO KICKED UP ...and Responded!

To these two Posts: OBAMA GOT THE MESSAGE...and even though it "looks like Boehner Shot Him Down...It was his own Repugs and the Left of the Democratic Party that shot down that BARGAIN between the DEMS AND REPUGS to Punish "SS" with "Chained CPI" and to do the other Dirty Deeds in that Bargain!

The FIGHT WON'T END NOW...just because Boehner wouldn't Accept Obama's "Grand Bargain" ...it will CONTINUE.

All those who Phoned WH and SIGNED PETITIONS should know that IT'S IMPORTANT WHAT YOU ALL DID... AND...it caused BOTH PARTIES TO PAUSE!

KEEP IT UP...Because IT DID MAKE A DIFFERENCE!

to all... and

Fri Apr 5, 2013, 09:00 PM
Apr 2013

Says the "Strategy" didn't work! But, it still means we've gotta keep working...but this was a Trial Baloon sent up by Obama...and Boehner shot it Down. Because the "FDR" Dems got up in Arms and Boehner heard it from the Repugs on the Right...and the whole thing STUNK SO BAD that it went down.

We aren't going to hear that from MSM...they will say it was just the Dem Left (the Group Rahm Hates)...but think about how fast Boehner responded! So...it was a Proposal that Dems hated so bad and even the REPUGS couldn't tolerate.

SO...it was a VICTORY...but only for now... It will begin again after the Keystone Pipeline is Approved...and they will really go for BROKE the Next TIME against SS...so we have to be aware to start the "Call WH, Petition Sign and DO WHATEVER WE CAN to stop SS/MEDICARE AND MEDICAID getting RAIDED in the name of AUSTERITY.

that BOTH DEMS & REPUG...VOTING SENIORS...hated the thing so bad that it went down....

But, Are BOTH holding out for worse? Well...look at the track record of both Dems under Harry Reid in Senate and the Repugs in both Senate and House!

It's gonna be the two sides carving it up. So...this was the first THREAT...that got SHOT DOWN by both Parties.. But, I fear "more wicked things...come our way."

Here's the post Joan Walsh wrote on SALON: The whole article with the AARP Poll is interesting. And, Joan Walsh is a "Centrist Dem" so for her to write this says she really wants to get Obama's Attention.
Because...he will Hurt Dems in 2014 Election with this stunt he just pulled.

been through to do this effort once again...after how we "FDR" Dems have been treated. But, we will stand up again...when it gets bad enough that the Troops are needed. I know this was the "last stand" for many...and some won't be with us...but some still will have to do it...because the options are so horrible we won't want to live with them.

But...for this effort it was a VICTORY...and the PTB (Powers that Be) are going to have to re-assess just how far they went with this horrible Chained CPI being put out as Trial Baloon to once again catch our President and Repugs in some kind of hideous death dance that HURTS AND HARMS...the PEOPLE...that VOTED FOR THEM!

Holding our Elders as HOSTAGE in this GRAND BARGAIN was a MISTAKE. And both Parties need to be re-assessed for making the ELDERLY their Power Struggle. It's cruel to the elderly their children and to our Whole Society!

... in my letters to Senators Franken and Klobuchar, I made it quite clear that if Obama's Grand Betrayal becomes law, I will hold the entire Democratic Party responsible for it happening. A politician being a Republican is already toxic to me, so I will be left with only two options, voting for 3rd party candidates or not voting(which isn't really an option at all.) That I should have to even consider this from a President that claims to be a Democrat, is disgusting, but there it is.

He's not gonna give up on this and even if he did, the liberal media will now describe him as the "Democrat president who proposed cutting social security".

And even worse, Boner's rejection of the offer will be portrayed as a defense of SS: "Obama wanted to cut it but Boner said no!"

Remember when Obama said something like - "the voters have to make me do the right thing"? I can understand that, I just wish we didn't have to keep doing it all the time.

Just yesterday I discussed FDR with my 5th Grade students. Some had traveled to DC at one time or another, but none knew what the FDR breadline statues represented. When they heard that at that time people had no way to get food because there were no social safety nets, they were stunned. I think the reason social studies is not a "tested" subject with our corporate run testing system is because the less each generation knows, the easier it is to take us backwards.
