Holy shit. What more do you need to know in order to come to the conclusion that this is a terrible idea? If Club for Growth is defending you and you're a Democratic President, clearly something has gone terribly wrong and you need to correct course.
Obama needs to come out immediately and shred his proposal.
Walden, who chairs the National Republican Campaign Committee, was placed on the group's www.primarymycongressman.com website, which seeks to solicit primary opponents to lawmakers opposed to the conservative agenda. It lists extensive complaints with Walden's record:

(397 posts)It's just shocking that there are still so many people on this board that are siding with Clubs for Growth and against people like Elizabeth Warren. I understand a lot of the centrist, strictly Obama-supporting people would get defensive at first. But man, it should seem so obvious to everyone now. I don't care how supportive or critical you are of Obama. Cutting social security is morally reprehensible.
