it has been my homepage since the 1990s and I swear it has just recently turned into Kardashian, celeb gossip central. Not to mention links to Glenn Beck's f'ng site. I don't remember it always being this way, or am I just getting older and noticing?

(20,600 posts)I just use a direct link to news sections I'm interested in so I don't have to see it.

(10,624 posts)Every change they make is a change for the worse.
Their email system has gotten much worse, forcing you to click through unnecessary screens so they can show you more ads.
Yahoo Finance, in particular, is getting less and less usable. The internet was a great equalizing device in terms of investment information, giving the home investor access to nearly as much current data as the Wall Street guys. I have watched, over the last ten years, as the quality of that information has declined, become less available, and more difficult to access.
I had better access to investment data in 2005 than I do today.
i use it mostly for junk mail that i don't want sent to my real addy. serves a purpose, i guess
