(579 posts)Faux News is shown for the sleazy scoundrels that they are? We don't have to see a picture of someone's legs being blown off to believe that is what has happened. It's gory and not necessary.

(46,337 posts)Looking for some news that wasn't about the bombing.
Was on Faux for maybe 10 seconds, and there was the picture.
That poor guy!
Some people have compared Faux "news" to the supermarket tabloids.
That's not fair.
Even the supermarket tabloids have standards that Faux never has, never will have.

(5,761 posts)When it first happened I was watching Shep as I like him (and that is about ALL who I can listen to on FOX) when it first happened. They cut to raw unedited video and wow.....just yeah, people missing leg and limb, blood everywhere. Pretty horrific.

(23,550 posts)tape and ran. It was in a foreign country.
I have mixed feelings about showing these images vs sanitizing things so that we all believe the world is as we see it in the movies.
The images from the VietNam war might have helped end it sooner. We don't get so many war images on tv now.
