False equivalency from the RW's. Do they think the bomber might be one of them?

I'm loving all the RW's that have called in to Progressive radio today to read from the same script that "the left has nuts on the fringe that commit violent acts too". I even heard two of them go so far as to suggest that it could have been an environmentalist who sits in trees or chains themselves to a bulldozer to prevent clear-cutting of forests. None of them acknowledge that any act of terror has come from a disciple of the Right. OKC- sorry I cant hear you. Olympic Park Bomber- never heard of it. They are suggesting that if someone else did it, they did it because they are a crazy loner.

Are they starting to come to grips with the possibility that one of them (Rush listening, Bekkk reading, Alex Jones believing....) might be at fault here?

Is the cry of an equivalency from the Left the last refuge of the Right?

that banning assault weapons is useless because people will build bombs. (I've encountered this argument several times.). So, I'm not surprised that they are going on the defense.

BTW, I just saw Shepard Smith mention the OK bombing to Saxby Chambliss, who *immediately* changed the subject.

glorified violence and "revolution" (sometimes veiled, sometimes blatant), are stewing in their own juices right now, afraid one of their own ideologues has committed this heinous crime.

Listen (if you can stand it) to Limbaugh, Beck, etc., and they're not spouting their usual provocative garbage right now. They're on the defensive. Neither of these greedy sob's are stupid, no matter how stupid they talk. Every time they inflame their listeners, they know the possibility of creating a monster exists. If this is one of their fans, they don't want you to remember how many ways they encouraged sick behavior.

They are really scared that it IS one of their very own. I guess when your party has the national spotlight and screams hatred for a few decades, somebody eventually listens and believes it.
