Sorry to see that he went off the deep end...the show had some great themes and more potential

good thing I didn't know this about him then. I probably would have let it affect my enjoyment of the show.

I've known some real jackasses who were very popular among their fans. I have known some really nice ones who often played bad guys in the movies and whose fan base often hated them. Some very romantic ones with the ladies (Rock Hudson isn't the only one) were quite gay. It's like any workplace. You get people with all kinds of ideologies and personalities that often have nothing to do with the roles they play.

District 9, I think is one of the best recent SF films, and a damn good critique of post-apartheid South African society. This RW actor I know nothing about.
