Seems like another February with all the snow!

(22,541 posts)This is what April looks like here when we've had a mild winter sometimes. Not always, but sometimes you can just feel in your bones that the snows are going to fall long after you need to plant and want to hike.

3 of the 4 hurricanes of 2004 that ravaged Florida struck on September: Hurricane Frances, Ivan, Jeanne
Hurricane Katrina: makes landfall in Louisiana on August 29, 2005, 1836 people die including from the subsequent flooding
Stock Market panic of 2008 and the marking point when things will never be the same: September 15, 2008.

You can assemble any chain of events using google and wiki on the calendar and rationalize any conclusion you choose.
Stuff happens each and every day, some of it horrific, some of it not so great, some of it good and some of it beyond superb.

It's a good thing that they won't let you eat Animal Crackers in libraries too, someone just might choke to death on one.
