Cop Becomes Impatient While Waiting in McDonald’s Drive-Thru Lane, Pulls Gun on Teen Customer

A police officer in Georgia had what is being described as a "severe break in judgment" after he apparently drew his gun on a McDonald's customer who was taking too long to receive his order.

Scott Biumi, a detective sergeant with the DeKalb County Police Department, was in the drive-thru lane of a local McDonald's last week, when he reportedly became impatient with the truck in front of him, and decided to confront the driver.

After pulling his Chevrolet Impala ahead of the truck, Biumi allegedly stepped out of the car and began hurling expletives at the other driver — 18-year-old Ryan Mash.

According to the official police report, Biumi then pulled out his gun, pointed it at the Mash's head, and shouted "you don't know who you are fucking with."

...A lapse of judgement?? Good Lord!!! But you'll be happy to know, if you read the article, that the other cops in the town did have better judgement and arrested their fellow cop)

Biumi's was booked into the Forsyth County Detention Center. His bond was set at $22,000 and was in the process of bonding out Wednesday afternoon.

Am I wrong in speculating that the bail of a run-of-the-mill civilian would be set, say, 20 times higher than $22,000?

Take his service revolver away and can his ass. Now that he has a record as a hot-head he's a lawsuit waiting to happen when he shows similar poor judgment while on duty. Not to mention being a possible danger to citizens.

he just stepped into the real legal world, and I'm sure there is a lawyer out there willing to take this one on contingency.

Yeah, there are some good cops out there - real heros. But there are way too many stupid yahoo cowboys in blue (or SWAT black with no ID when they can get away with it).

knowing that would startle me, I said "Have you ever been polite in your whole life?".. funny what can pop out of the mouth at times like that.

He said growling "move your fat ass" mumble mumble glaring and his eyes just crazy angry

White gray haired mid 50s guy. Looked prosperous enough. Did he expect me to wait for him?

It am a female and a fast walker.

I can't remember this much aggression over nothing before.

I wondered later if he had a GUN in the truck.. I won't even engage next time this kind of thing happens, too dangerous.

I would like to see this jackass loose his job and his pension. Zero tolerance policies are the only way to eliminate this type of behavior.
