Clint Eastwood Super Bowl ad made Obama's day, blogs say (DU cited here)

http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0212/72501.html

The day after the Super Bowl, there was rare consensus in the blogosphere across the political spectrum: the Chrysler ad featuring actor Clint Eastwood seemed more like an Obama-reelect campaign video than a car commercial.

“Did Chrysler, Clint Eastwood Super Bowl ad win Obama second term?” read the title of a post on The Left Call, a website that purports to highlighting the “liberal voice.”

...A similar observation was made on The Raw Story, a website that bills itself a “progressive news site.”

... “That Clint Eastwood Chrysler ad was essentially a reelect Obama commercial,” read a post on Democratic Underground featuring the video. The only extra commentary read: “Without overtly saying it.”

because it has a positive message which is anathema to republicans. Now if the commercial promoted fear, depression, hate for others, and a general feeling that things were in the shit hole, autoworkers make too much money and couldn't do anything but get worse unless we lower taxes for the wealthy they would be all for it.

Plus, on top of that, it gave me an opportunity to talk about politics during the game after being told that if I was going to go over there to watch it, they didn't want to talk about politics!!!

Heh heh heh, after that ad was over, I gave a 3 minute speech about how great of a president President Obama really is!!

Boo-yah!
