And bacon gravy, and fish and meats fried in bacon drippings, and veggies sauteed in bacon grease for hamburger soup, and bacon drippings to make Yorkshire pudding with green chiles, and...iiiiit's BACON!

The shake sounds good--but I'd add a Liberal dose of cayenne and Malabar black pepper. Yum!

but Jack in the Box has a pretty bad history. I would be more worried about their burgers than their shakes.

http://www.examiner.com/chain-restaurant-in-national/jack-the-box-kangaroo-meat-legend-half-true

^snip^

The urban legend that Jack in the Box had a mix up in their meat shipments and served kangaroo meat burgers all over America, is not true. However, there is some factual basis to the story.

In 1981, horse meat and kangaroo meat was labeled as beef chuck at a Foodmaker processing plant that among other companies, provided hamburger meat and taco meat to Jack in the Box restaurants. The meat labeling mistake came from the Australian meat distribution company called ProFreeze.

The kangaroo meat never actually made it to the burgers or tacos of Jack in the Box customers, but the story some how got into the news, and the rumors started spreading.

The rumors were most likely aggravated by Jack in the Box’s tragic E. Coli outbreak in 1993. Jack in the box locations in Seattle and coastal California served undercooked patties with fecal matter containing E. Coli. 600 reported sickness from the bad hamburger patties and four children died of hemolytic uremic syndrome.

...but bacon-accentuated ice cream has been in vogue for years, mostly at gourmet restaurants, and made an appearance on "Top Chef" more than once. It's a product of that new method of cooking called "molecular gastronomy."

A "Jack in the Box" milkshake is another matter, of course...

Dark chocolate with bacon bits is good, too.

But bacon syrup? I dunno about that.

I have not understood the latest fad for bacon everything. People have long put bacon on burgers, or a club sandwich. But it seems bacon is all over everything these days. I like a strip or two with breakfast, on occasion, and on a club sandwich. And that is about it for me. Bacon shake? It sounds simply nauseating.

- but a whole milkshake would be just too rich. Love bacon paired with sweet things - its the salt with sweet combo that makes it work so well.

Chocolate chip cookies with bacon . . . don't knock them until you've tried them!
