Pssssssssst!! Governor Vagina probe Bob McDonnell Under Investigation By The FBI

http://www.wusa9.com/news/article/257266/373/Virginia-Governor-Bob-McDonnell-Under-Investigation-By-The-FBI
<snip>
Virginia's Governor is on the defensive in the midst of an F-B-I investigation.
The agency wants to know more about his relationship with Star-Scientific, after the company's C-E-O gave 15-thousand dollars to help pay for Bob McDonnell's daughter's wedding; it was a gift that the Governor did not report.

"I think that I reported the gift as the law required it to be disclosed," explained Governor McDonnell to several reports outside WTOP studios Tuesday where he appeared for a regular "Ask the Governor" session.

In Virginia, gifts to family members don't need to be reported. The governor says that's why he did not report the 15 thousand dollar gift from Williams to help pay for his daughter's wedding. The FBI is now looking into the details of that gift.

"My daughter indicated that she wanted to pay for the wedding. She and her husband Chris. It's something my wife and I did 37 years ago," said Gov. McDonnell.

Is Bob McDonnell Turning Into Virginia's Version of Rod Blagojevich?

By the way, I think it's well worth noting that, to date, the one and ONLY Virginia elected official (or candidate for statewide office) to call for a federal investigation into both Bob McDonnell and Ken Cuccinelli (who has his own sleazy connections to Jonnie Williams and Star Scientific) for corruption has been State Senator and Attorney General candidate Mark Herring. On April 11, Sen. Herring said that it's time for a "federal investigation into the relationship between Virginia Governor Robert McDonnell and Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli, and the company Star Scientific and its Chief Executive Officer Jonnie R. Williams Sr." In making that call, Mark Herring demonstrated several of the key traits we should want in an Attorney General: integrity, forcefulness, strict adherence to (and respect for) the rule of law, and a zero tolerance policy for corruption of any kind in our state government.

seems like they'd run away from people willing to pay their bills. Us regular folks could probably get away with it.

as a professional politician, why risk a career for a little graft? The actual perks are tremendous. Sorry if I was vague.

it is going to be a tough race mainly because Va just got used to being an actual swing-state (TV ads).

None of this helps "The Cooch" add in that the executive chef at the Governor's mansion is asking for proof in his case.

They can take and be given whatever amount. It's public perception they're afraid of.

Can't wait to see how far Cooch is going to go to defend the "unnatural acts" law. Since when do Republics hate blowjobs?
