It most certainly should make them upset. One thing polls don't tell us is nuance. I'm a member of the President Barack Obama group - love him. No chance lance will I be not voting for him as a 'protest vote' - and I won't be voting for a 3rd party candidate or Republican.

But - I'm somewhat disappointed in Health Care (wanted Medicare for All), somewhat disappointed in his handling of the economy (we need infrastructure overhaul now which would lead to economic growth), and we still don't have a Paycheck Fairness Law on the books. And Plan B?

But all of that said:

1. I know he isn't a dictator (as those on the right tend to paint him) so he can't just issue edicts. He's been chained down by a petulant Republican ruled House.
2. You don't get your 'own way' every single time.

So how many of those somewhat dissatisfieds are progressives who didn't get precisely what we wanted? And I know others IRL like me - that would rather anallly rend and torture themselves with a hot fireplance iron then use said iron to give ourselves a lobotomy than to give up the White House to any one of the four members of the Committee to ReElect Barack Obama (Paul, Romney, Gingrich, Santorum).
