(2,354 posts)2. That's so hilariously hypocritical, it should be gift-wrapped.
I really liked this part:
"...I am also calling on the Governor to adopt the reforms I proposed earlier this month that would prohibit anyone bidding on a state contract from contributing to his campaign for Governor. I am calling on Governor Doyles campaign to return any contributions from individuals made while bidding on a state contract.
Additionally, I am calling on the Governor to prohibit his appointees from both giving to his campaign and/or hosting fundraisers on his behalf. Also, he should return any and all contributions from administration officials immediately.
Little can be said to underscore the seriousness of this charge...."
This sleaze-bucket doesn't know there's a difference between moral outrage and partisan posturing. His administration has been all about favoring wealthy campaign donors, from the first few weeks he got into office and
immediately reduced 140 million dollars of tax liability for some of the state's biggest corporations. In the name of "job creation." Only when you did the numbers, that 140 million dollar give-away worked out to a whopping 12 or
15 bucks worth of inducement credit, for the creation of any one, single new job. It was just a give-away, so he could scream "financial hardship" and "budget crunch" as loudly as possible, while he was trying to screw over state
workers, the middle class, and some of the poorest, least-financially-healthy citizens in Wisconsin.
I can't wait until he's gone.

But hypocrisy is a cherished Republican value, so no, he won't.
