I started with my 30th entry, then put 30, 27, 24, etc. in poll 1; 29, 26, 23, etc. in poll 2; and 28, 25, 22, etc. in poll 3. I was trying to be as random as I could be without losing my mind. 
We're going down to Southeast Alaska in about 12 days for two weeks, driving from here to Haines and then taking the ferries to Juneau and Sitka. On the way back we're taking the Klondike Loop up through Dawson and the Top of the World Highway http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Top_of_the_World_Highway , through the whimsical Chicken, Alaska, http://chickenalaska.com/ (a little map at that link under "tourist info" which shows our route). I plan to take photos of every possible contest idea that anyone could ever think of. 
I have palm trees. Not from Alaska, of course, but some real beauties from Costa Rica.
. A little bit of a bumpy start, but going good now. 
and it was beautiful. Winner.
