Happened and Why by Mitchner. Very hairy time for activists, then. I camped out several days on the lawn of the ad bldg of the U. of Florida several days while Claude Kirk (gov) raged about sending in the game wardens to roust us.

Two of the students killed were not protesting. William Schroeder and Sandra Scheuer were on their way to class..

@BeschlossDC Bill Schroeder, was walking to class, books in hand, was shot in the back. He was an Eagle Scout from Lorain and member of ROTC

I can't remember the details on the other student.
