(145,631 posts)I can understand why you are proud. My youngest child is 21 and she will be the head election judge for the local school board elections on Saturday. She has been a clerk for the Democratic primaries and the Alternate Judge for the 2012 general election. I would love to see a True the Vote (tea party group) try to mess with her. In Texas, an election judge can actually have someone arrested if they get out of line. My older two children are both proud and worried about the power that their youngest sibling will be wielding on Saturday.

(30,058 posts)I would venture to say with probably the finest precinct judges, very knowledgeable and goes further than she is required to do so to see everyone votes. I accept my responsibility with great honor and have everyone a very pleasant experience while voting. It is a wonderful civil responsibility, enjoy.
