I'm thinking about a line from an older movie.

"The Graduate."

At a party, Dustin Hoffmann is given some advice by a business type.

He's told, "Plastics."

That line reflects how we looked at plastic back then.
Cheap, was thought of as a crass imitation of "real" stuff.

Nowadays we are arguing about working plastic guns.

And many of us literally would be dead now without plastic.

the investment possibilities, not to the cheapness of the product. but my memory is not what it used to be, plus my memory is not what it used to be.
