Dear Dr. Fixit: I'm having trouble with my memes.

I've noticed recently that a lot of my new Internet memes are not playing properly on my memograph. The reproduction quality has deteriorated, and some of my favorite memes are almost unrecognizable these days. Is it the memes, or does my memograph just need a new needle or something?

For example, my "All of Our Problems Are Caused by Drones" meme seems to be failing far too often lately.

I really need to get this fixed. Is that a do-it-yourself project, or should I take my memograph to a technician?

Answer: It could be either. The quality of memes on the Internet these days isn't what it used to be, so it may just be that the memes you are playing are defective in some way. On the other hand, your memograph could be defective. The late model imported memographs are known to have some defects that don't show up for some time. Try playing a high-quality older meme from your collection. If that reproduces correctly, then it's probably just the low-quality memes you have been accepting. If not, then a qualified memograph technician may be able to restore your memograph to proper function. If all else fails, replace it with a High-Quality USA Made memograph, if you can find one.
