Awesome Media Matters Article Benghazi Emails

So here's what happened. Republicans in Congress saw copies of these emails two months ago and did nothing with them. It was obvious that they showed little more than routine interagency haggling. Then, riding high after last week's Benghazi hearings, someone got the bright idea of leaking two isolated tidbits and mischaracterizing them in an effort to make the State Department look bad. Apparently they figured it was a twofer: they could stick a shiv into the belly of the White House and they could then badger them to release the entire email chain, knowing they never would.

for Issa and the Republicans. Hopefully, this little corporate infil(traitor) will be demoted or fired for getting egg in the faces of his network. He was, after all, the channel the Republicans used to gin up this non-scandal.

Ah . . . those Republicans. They underestimate this president at their own peril.

I expect the IRS Teabag scandal to be a little of nothing too it was one office it wasn't agency wide and it was not only conservative groups 2/3 of the audits were for other groups not having anything to do with conservative groups.

rub, ain't it?

What in this green Earth made them think the WH wouldn't release emails when they ALTERED their originals?

I think "altered" is a much better descriptive word than "mischaracterizing".
