You knew it was coming.
Senate candidate Pete Hoekstras controversial ad with the Chinese woman riding alongside a rice paddy and using broken English to thank Debbie Spend It Now (aka Sen. Debbie Stabenow) for improving Chinas economy has inspired a parody ad that smacks Hoekstra, the former congressman from Holland, as a racist.
The parody is produced by the website funnyordie.com.
The video takes the Asian/Chinese stereotypes to new lows the actress thanks us for the booming Chinese economy (because, in theory, U.S. spending forces the government to borrow from China). She says its helped her buy pirated DVDs and when a dog barks in the background where Chinese workers are harvesting rice, the bespectacled actress says sounds like dinner. Me so happy.
It ends with a raunchy reference that most viewers likely wont understand. Still.
