Public Perception of Washington.

The CNN ORC poll is out, and it's not very good news for us. There is some good news, and it is that roughly 51% of the people are happy with President Obama's performance. That's the end of the good news.

The IRS scandal is important. Between somewhat, and very, more than 80% of the people think it is important to the nation. It gets worse for us. 54% of the people think that the Republicans are acting appropriately regarding the IRS revelations.

Benghazi. More than 80% of the people think that this issue is important, to very important to the nation. 59% of the people think that the Republicans are on the money and doing the right thing.

This poll is like a gust of wind to the sails of the Republicans in Congress, they'll be holding more hearings, and demanding more from the White House regarding Benghazi and the IRS scandal. People want heads to roll, and they want folks in jail over the IRS debacle. With the tens of thousands of laws on the books, we should be able to find one that somebody broke. We have to get ahead of this, or the Republicans will ride this to a big public perception gain going into next year's election season.

PBO is still personally liked but there is a widespread dissatisfaction with the direction and partisanship in DC.

I don't need a poll to KNOW that 99.99% of Americans feel that politicians, every damn one of them are liars.
