Childrens Choir from Moore elementary school

What the h..l? I just saw a bit on CBS showing the choir singing at a Memorial service. They were singing "Jesus Loves Me"?
Very sweet and all, but what happened to seperation of church and state?

Now if they had been presented as students from Moore Elementary, that would have been different. What really bothered me though was that according to the reporter, the teacher(s?) had them sing Jesus Loves Me in school during the storm. NOT acceptable, if true.

If singing "Jesus Loves Me" made the kids less scared, I really don't give a damn. I'm an agnostic and if I were hiding from an EF-5 I'd have sung the entire Bach B-Minor Mass, even if I was a government employee in a public building. I'm all in favor of the separation of church and state but there are times - and this was one of them - when I'm just not going to get all exercised about it.
