American Senile Old Man Wanders Off, Ends Up In The Middle-East. (

Reuters) - Republican Senator John McCain, a former presidential candidate and an outspoken advocate for U.S. military aid to the Syrian opposition, met with some of the rebels during a surprise visit to the war-torn country on Monday, his spokesman said.

Spokesman Brian Rogers confirmed McCain's meeting with the rebels, but declined to give any details about the visit, which may fuel pressure on Washington to intervene in a conflict that is believed to have claimed 80,000 lives.

Please, guys... we just finished killing off the monster we created when we armed Mujas in Afghanistan 25 years ago. Can't we at least REST for FIVE F-ING MINUTES before we go giving weapons to MORE terrorists to use against us?

Saying he met with the rebels is not telling the full story. He met with the Supreme Military Council. These rebels are a sham and have no say in what happens in rebel controlled areas of Syria. Which rebels are we supporting? There are Kurds and their are radical Islamist rebels and who knows what else? Meeting with the SMC is nothing but another political photo-op.
