http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/02/09/rick-santorum-fracking-climate-change_n_1266413.htmlRick Santorum took aim at environmental regulations Thursday at a campaign stop in Oklahoma, a hub of the domestic energy industry. The presidential hopeful told voters that opposition to fracking is nothing more than political fear-mongering, according to CNN.
"We have to have all sorts of government regulations because of the threats of hydrofracking," Santorum said. "It's the new boogey man. It's the new way to try to scare you."
Later he imitated anti-fracking politicians and environmentalists. "Ooh, all this bad stuff's going to happen, we don't know all these chemicals and all this stuff," he said. "What's going to happen? Let me tell you what's going to happen, nothing's going to happen."

OP
If it so safe, will Santorum drink it? I'd like to see if "nothing's going to happen."

I'm 100% certain he is getting paid by the oil and gas companies to say this.

Well, good for him. Santorum can let the oil drillers frack right underneath his home.

It still uses millions of gallons of fresh water each time a well is fraced. Much of that water is returned to the surface and is contaminated with minerals some of which are heavy metals and radioactive isotopes. What do they do with that?
Hold it in ponds? Dump it in creeks? Inject it back underground?
Fracing is no boogeyman. It is a very real threat to our freshwater.

Santorum spouts these lies to put pressure on Romney.
Romney will pick up the point and repeat it to put pressure on Obama.

Go ahead, Rick. Invite them to destroy YOUR property value.

Me neither.
