12 cities lead in sustainability

"The federal government has been slow to enact meaningful reforms to combat climate change. Fortunately, some local legislators have stepped up and are leading the way. Here are twelve American cities with innovative sustainability initiatives." I'm proud to say own fair city is on the list.

1. Portland, OR
2. San Francisco, CA
3. Seattle, WA
4. Minneapolis, MN
5. Austin, TX
6. Eugene, OR
7. New York City, NY
8. Salt Lake City, UT
9. Grand Rapids, MI
10. Philadelphia, PA
11. Chicago, IL
12. Los Angeles, CA
