It would appear that National Journal falls in the relative center of publications.

The Cleveland Plain Dealer is NOT a progressive or even a centrist paper. They frequently endorse right-wing political candidates, they made themselves a laughingstock in 2004 by cowardly supporting neither candidate (because the publisher said "We're supporting Bewsh or we're supporting no one), frequently put pro-business and pro-free-trade screeds in their Business section, have repeating Bircher fossil LTTE writers that may as well be columnists and sport the Dumbest Columnist on Earth (Kevin O'Brien) on their editorial board.

Politico, Time and New Republic as "Left" magazines?? Thomas Friedman on the "LEFT" side??? Right, because I always like MY leftists to be war sponsors and corporate apologists.

The worst is CNBC listed as "Center". What the FUCK? CNBC couldn't be more of a propaganda arm for the Republicans if it dug up Reagan, gave it a voice and had Joe Kernen conduct an "interview" with it. In fact, any news network owned by a profiteering corporation cannot be construed as "left".

Something along those lines can be said about every publication in the world...

"On any given day, any publication DU disagrees with is a right-wing publication."

I was an average Democrat, but I wonder. When I read that front page I right away thought right-wing take on the presentation of most stories. However, I went back and found one with a left angle, so maybe the balance is there.? I bookmarked it.
