Teen surprises classmates, walks at graduation after being shot in head
"SOUTHFIELD, Mich. - On April 6, Northwestern High School (Mich.) Senior Balaal Hollings went to a party. When a fight broke out, the honor student, football star, student council and senior class president tried to break it up.
Then, there was gunfire. A bullet hit Hollings in the head. He didn’t make it back to the school to finish his senior year.
On Tuesday, nearly two months after the shooting, Hollings' class gathered at the Millennium Centre in Southfield for their graduation ceremony.
