People talk about them days later....

So... sounds effective to me.

If people talk about their cause later, with a more united sense of urgency (Yes, very effective)

If people talk about "them" later and their actions overshadow their cause (Not so much)

When I find a commercial to be hideous and annoying, there is a 90% chance I will have not clue what it was hawking.
