It is NOT an IRS Scandal. It's a CONGRESSIONAL SCANDAL!

The law states that 50(c)4 organizations must operate EXCLUSIVELY for Social Welfare purposes. In 1959, an IRS official changed the regulation to say "PRIMARILY for Social Welfare purposes". This change was made WITHOUT legislative authority.

The REAL SCANDAL is that for over 60 years, the Congress of the United States, "lead by" BOTH PARTIES, has failed to exercise it's authority to exercise oversight of the IRS and force the IRS to abide by the law as written.

On top of that, Steven Corbert and his lawyer revealed that the FEC can and does grant 501(c)4 status to Super PACs without the IRS even being involved. Now that the hell is going on there? More Congressional failure, that's what.
