We get all the dehumanizing degradation of our most essential rights as we're gradually transformed into serfs for a state that sees as us little more than productivity units on a Power Point presentation to ossified bureaucrats but we can feel better about it because the policies started with our erstwhile political opponents so we don't have to feel personally responsible for tolerating or expanding the sublimation of our humanity.

What's not to be proud of?
