Here's another example of ignorance among G.O.P. voters.
Mitt Romney: "Obama sounds like Marie Antoinette". Okay, that's totally false on so many levels, but let's see if we can expect the same message from fellow G.O.P.'er Rick Santorum....
The stage is yours Rick... "President Obama wants to guillotine Christians.."
WHAAAAAAA!!???????? According to these 'morans' Obama is on both sides of the French Revolution.
Is this the 'Twilight Zone'? Aren't these the same assclowns that wanted Obama's head in the guillotine for their for profit revolution? Aren't these the same assclowns that are tired of a ruling class and 'high' taxes? What will it take for them to digest the fact that Marie Antoinette was a hardcore right winger, like Sarah Barracuda?

French = liberal
Marie Antoinette = French
French Revolution = war of the liberals
Then again, I might be giving them too much credit. I'm sure most of them turned their hate to 11 once they heard "French".

(10,602 posts)Welcome to the "Fact Free Zone". We have entered an era of "The Fact Free Zone". Even Rod Serling could not imagine something so bazaar. Even with the media all these politicians particularly on the GOP on the right can say anything they want no matter how outrageous and they are seldom challenged bye the MSM. No challenge by the facts penetrates their thick empty skulls. They get angry and call you the liar.
All you have to is say something long enough and and passionately enough and "wala" it becomes true. It is like saying "graivity is just a theory, gravity is just a theory, as you jump off the roof of a high building.
It only matters if your supporters believe it.
