China calls on Snowden to reveal more

A commentary in the mainland's Global Times has urged the former CIA computer analyst Edward Snowden to come forward with more information about America's secret surveillance network.

The authorities in the United States have launched a criminal investigation against Snowden, who revealed the global hacking operation after fleeing to Hong Kong last month, RTHK reports.

The commentary in the Global Times follows new revelations made by the 29-year-old whistleblower that the US had hacked into hundreds of targets on the mainland and in Hong Kong.
...

The article called on Beijing and the SAR administration to carefully consider public sentiments when deciding whether or not to extradite Snowden.
